Written by a Certified Animal Behavior Consultant, Good Dog! informs the reader of the importance of training and an established routine in the life of a pet. Tips on feeding, grooming, regular check-ups with a veterinarian, and daily exercise are all imparted in easily understood language and accompanying photographs. Part of the Girls Rock! series, the only drawback is that all the photos depict only girls interacting with their canine friends, thus eliminating half of the library’s patronage. Too bad the publisher did not consider a third series, Kids Rock! which might have wider appeal.
